Writing

Hi! I'm Marie.

I’m a Senior Editor and Writer based in New York City. I’ve written scripted podcasts about topics that range from artificial intelligence to fertility, and I publish pieces in various publications as well as on my Substack.

I was the Senior Writer on Meditative Story, a scripted podcast from WaitWhat about transformative moments in storytellers’ lives. Also at WaitWhat, I produced the Masters of Scale podcast, where I edited episodes featuring guests like President Barack Obama and Stacey Abrams. Previously, I was the writer and editor for Vogue’s podcast In Vogue: The 2000s. Before that, I created and edited Baby Steps, a show about the many diverse paths people take in the pursuit of parenthood.

In the fall of 2020, I produced and co-wrote the podcast series Culture Fit: Racial Bias in Tech about the history of racial inequities in the tech industry. It was nominated for a Webby award.

I got my start as a writer and audio producer when I made an 11-part podcast called Discomfort Zone during my Fulbright fellowship in rural Thailand.
